Diane Fitchett

Board Member

Diane Fitchett was brought up in the countryside on the Welsh / English border surrounded
by beautiful countryside and wide-open spaces. She spent several years in the National
Health Servies as a nurse in the mental health section. Diane is the director of her family
business. She became the National President of the National Association of Ladies Circles,
which provided her with her first trip to Africa.

Diane has traveled through Africa. In 2006 she came to Tsavo with friends for the first time
to join Barbara’s elephant research project. Since then, she has recruited friends and family
several times to create volunteer teams to assist Barbara in collecting data for her research.
Diane has extensive knowledge of volunteer projects, recruitment and funding.
