Carol Brown
Board Member
Carol Brown was delighted to be appointed as a board member for the founding of the foundation in 2022. Carol and her husband first trip to Kenya was in 1995 and adopted their first orphaned elephant. It was this visit that sparked her love of Africa, passion for conservation, the culture and of course the people. This spark did not diminish but grew brighter and brighter on each of her many visits. She has tailored high profile itineraries and holidays to Africa and also escorted group visits featuring special celebrations and events.
One of these itineraries featured on the holiday programme ‘Wish You Were Here’. Carol strongly feels that bringing people to Africa, not only promotes this wonderful and diverse country but also highlights the plight and problems of the wildlife, economy and the population as a whole. She strongly believes that this is by far the best way to educate people and make them aware that conservation programmes are pivotal to the ‘heartbeat of Africa’, the survival and conservation of the wildlife. She is passionate, dedicated and totally committed in this fight to preserve the wildlife particularly the elephants of this beautiful country. Carol and her husband are owners of a leisure and lettings Company for rental properties in Tenerife, UK. Her knowledge of Africa, management, marketing, communication and organisational skills are an asset for the foundation.
